Sony confirm PS Plus and PS Now extension codes for PlayStation Network downtime
SONY has revealed the new PS Plus extension codes to be released to fans following an extensive PlayStation Network outage.
That's according to an email received by users today, including a unique extension credit code that needs to be redeemed before the end of March 31, 2016.
Redeeming the code will automatically apply the extension to your existing membership, "Thanks for your patience during the service interruption," Sony commented.
"PSN update: check your email starting this week for details on extensions for PS Plus, PS Now, and video rentals for active accounts."
Sony had confirmed earlier in 2016 that PS Plus, PS Now, and video rental customers would see extensions to their memberships due to the extensive outage.
The recent PlayStation Network issue was widespread and affected nearly every core service Sony provides but appears not to be connected to any sort of DDOS attack.
