Sony has reportedly started seeding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its latest flagship model, the Xperia Z5 smartphone. To recall, the handset launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The OTA firmware update is said to have started reaching Sony Xperia Z5 handsets in Turkey and will soon reach the Xperia Z5 Compact and the Xperia Z5 Premium models.
To refresh, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (previously just Android M) brings features such as revamped app permissions; Google Now on Tap feature; Android Pay mobile payment system, and new fingerprint APIs for developers among others.
