With million of user accessing file, images web page, there are also different browsers available on internet for free to use. The competition among browser companies also rise, each browser company tries to hit peak for users graph but only few of them able to do so in 2016.
According to a report published by Net Market Share, 2016 was a tough start, with Internet Explorer having a healthy lead, capturing 46 percent of the market compared to 32 percent of Chrome and 12 percent of Firefox.
CHROME WINS THE BATTLE
Chrome by finally take the from March and till the end of 2016 year. Chrome acquired the total 56% of the whole market, the second comes Microsoft Internet Explorer with 21%.
The new player on the scene, Edge, continued its steady rise at the expense of its predecessor, rising to 5.3 percent of the market from 2.8 percent, but it doesn’t appear good enough to beat Chrome in the future.
Gamer also seem to be preferring Edge over others. Latest figures from Steam quote the number of Windows 10 users who run Edge at nearly 50 percent.
It is also worth noting that while Net Market Share assumes that Chrome passed Internet Explorer only in 2016, stats from Stat Counter show that Chrome had already surpassed Internet Explorer way back in 2013.
It currently stands on 62.66 percent of the overall market, followed by Firefox at 14.95 percent of the market and Internet Explorer at 9.86 percent.
